Transforming Edmonton

Hello there! If you are new here, you might want to subscribe to the RSS feed for updates from Seeing Change.

I have stumbled onto a great new site, one that has me proud to be living in Edmonton.

Have you ever wanted to know what action you city was doing for the environment? Or what struggles face those who are trying to improve the city from within? Transforming Edmonton provides an insight into the goals and successes of change from within the City of Edmonton. Members of various departments around the city write on the ideas that form from where they work. Topics like open data are made personal, and the joy of teaching about carbon footprints exemplifies a positive environmental movement.

What I have learned is that categories for the posts, which are great reads, are based on the new strategic goals of the City of Edmonton. It is encouraging to see goals based on transportation, environment, and public information.Very holistic, very inclusive, and very worthy of the citizens of Edmonton.

Here is a quick video from their site. See where the City of Edmonton is heading, and how the staff are Transforming Edmonton
