VolunteerMeme
VolunteerMeme is a RSS and Twitter system to promote Volunteer Centers from around the world. This is an opportunity to see what amazing things are happening in your area, and to learn from those outside your jurisdiction. Below are a few resources to help. First off is the VolunteerMeme Twitter feed. With the help of TwitterFeed, we take the RSS from Volunteer Centers and broadcast it on Twitter. Most of these groups do not have a Twitter presence, so we hope to provide another outlet to reach the world. If you know of a Volunteer Center that you think needs more publicity, please email volunteer@seeingchange.com, or follow @VolunteerMeme, and we would be happy to include them.
The second aspect of VolunteerMeme is it’s Twitter lists. By collecting the Twitter accounts of Volunteer Centers in to regional lists, we hope to provide an avenue for you to find volunteer opportunities in your area.
